Defense guide - Suggestions and observations for coaches and players to improve netball defense:

Defenders should:

* defender should always know where my player and where the ball is and know where the basket is.
* be prepared to intercept the ball
* defend and react to their opponent’s movement
* be aggresive and work hard to keep the ball away from their opponent
* defend and have strong ball pressure to limit the throwers options
* take notice of the rotation and diredtion of the shooter
* when defending right to left (or vice versa) always go in front of the player.
